It was'nt until he met someone by the name of Ichigo that he knew what he had to do. he wanted to be a soul reaper. But Suijin wanted power, more power than he allowed. Due to his dedication he became a captian at the age of 14. Suijin left when he was tempted by the Soul reapers with hollow powers. He left and set out to become a god at all cost.
